New petition for current wife

I got my citizenship through marriage to US citizen few years back. At that time my ex filed for divorce and it was finalized just couple of weeks after my citizenship oath (My citizen ship interview & oath were on same day). During my interview officer did not ask about my situation and just answered to the question he asked and went well. Technically i was not divorced at the time of interview/oath. I was in good faith to my marriage and had plenty of proof at that time. It lasted 4 years.

Fast forward: Now I am planning to apply for green-card/AdjustmentofStatus for my current wife (who is currently on work visa) as spouse to US citizen. I met her here in US and married year after my previous marriage. We are into 2 years of this marriage. Is it safe to apply green-card for her using my status? I am very scared that i will be scrutinized of my previous marriage and not sure how far that might go.

The timeticks on your citizenship and divorce should bother any USCIS Immigration Officer,

as

it's one of the listed red flags

in

The Adudicator's Manual.

The length of time on your current marriage not matter.

Did you obtain citizenship under the three year rule or five year rule? If the latter then it probably won't matter, if the former than you may have misrepresented yourself and should expect problems.
