Letter of Intent Question

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of filing the I-129f and had another quick question. Both my fiance and I are supposed to fill out a Letter of Intent. He is from the UK, I am from the US. We are supposed to list the Consulate address and my question is, would we both put down the London address?

Hi MichelleRenee! Since you will be submitting the I-129f package to USCIS, you will need to address both Letters of Intent to the specific service center of the USCIS where you will be sending the I-129f package to.

But if you will be sending the letter of intent during interview, the address then would be the US Embassy in London.

Addresses on the letters of intent are not a requirement. They are just a formality of letter writing. A statement is all that is needed.

Jay-Kay is correct, the address is just a formality. The Letters of Intent are going to be included with the rest of your packet, they'll never be mailed on their own. You can forgo the address entirely.

Yes, if you want to include addresses, you can. They are not a requirement to have on your intent to marry statements though. If you choose to use the more formal letter format with addresses, then for the I-129F petition, use the Dallas Lockbox filing address on them. For the K-1 interview later, use the London Embassy address.

When getting ready for the interview, do you have to send in new letters of intent from both the petitioner and the beneficiary.
