Hi everyone! I need your expert advice. I am currently a lawful permanent resident here in the US (CR1 category) conditional status. I Plan to travel to the Philippines in May this year for 3 weeks with my family. My greencard will be expiring in September of this year in which I have to file for removal of conditional status sometime in June just the right time when I will be back from my vacation. My concern is will I be able to travel outside the US even if my greencard is expiring soon? Or Do i need to wait for my conditional status to be removed before I can travel outside US? I appreciate your opinion especially anyone of you who have experienced this. Thank you.idea9dv.gif

You can travel whenever you want, your greencard does have to be valid once you reenter the US. You should be fine.

It's amazing how many questions can be resolved with a 2 minute Google search...
