Yes Danno, there exists (and has for some time now) a concept called abortion. It exists within an ethical framework defined in law. It exists to ensure that women have the ultimate right over their own bodies and not be forced by religious zealots to undergo a pregnancy they do not want and did not plan for.

For most of this countries history (as well as most of the western world) Abortions as we know them today were considered Murder.
