one person from this forum went to his interview without the form ds-156k , and that made a delay on his visa process.

so dont forget go to the interview with your ds-156k.

here is the link where the embassy say that you need the ds-160 and the ds-156k for fiance visa.

Yes, and the delay has been 3 1/2 weeks as of today!

Here is the latest response from the consulate regarding this. (It's better to have too much info than not enough) oops8rh.gif

My interview letter only say to fill the ds160? confused.

Look the e-mail that the consulate sent to futuremrslopez in this post.

Their case was delied because they didnt submit the ds-156k.

So it is better be preper.

At the consulate , the day of Your interview.

Just be sure you submit it to avoid delay

The officer gave me the form , and said " I don't know why they are not giving you this,please fill in" :), after that everything went smoothly so. GRACIAS!!!!!!

But they changed my status to AP today . so....

You are lucky that he gave you the form , there are persons that have delay because they forgot the form and now are waiting fot more than one month.

But they changed my status to AP today . so....
