This one...

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/cdc-royal-caribbean-cruise-has-more-than-600-sick-passengers-crew/

When I was younger and we had more people in the house, my mom would steam a whole garouper - my favourites were the eyeballs. So soft and silky. :P

Mmmmm.....grouper balls......

Did you go on that royal Caribbean cruise?

You would never catch me on a boat in the open ocean, especially a cruise.

Google ferry Estonia for the why.

Meh.. hope moving a post to OT about signing a personal petition about how 'unjust' it is for someone to be banned for entering the US illegally twice was the right place to move it to. It was not really about any immigration process, just wanting people to sign their personal plea. Maybe I should have made a personal petition when my husband could not get a tourist visa because of people like her husband that enter illegally all the time and those that overstay and abuse the B-2.

Ok, small rant over now.

You were on the Estonia?

Yes and I swam all the way to shore in the icy cold water. ;)

No, really, cruises are gross and I have a serious fear of ocean drowning and pond/lake goo and sludge. My mother used to make me drive through the ocean waves when they came over the road for for kicks and giggles, not funny when I was about to pass out from a panic attack. Also, dangerous.

Girrrrl, you're preaching to the choir. If I had a penny for every time I had to defend my position on illegal immigrants ("but you're married to an immigrant!") I'd be rich. ;)

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

I get why people come here, but it creates more problems than it solves in their home countries.

There's also this off IRAS. Can they be any more confusing...

Good luck sorting the tax stuff.. I am done with it. smile.png

My previous HR did not even mention about the resident/non-resident tax issue when I was sent overseas to work (more than 183 days per year in US). I paid resident taxes on income I received in Singapore and US taxes for per diem allowance received in US.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Get well soon - get the Dane to cook you chicken soup and give you massages. It's his husbandly duty.

And ward off my mother, who seems to come around to kick me when I'm down. She always waits until he isn't around. Classic predator.
