Try a kennel club?

Right up Darklar's alley.....

Nola happy birthday (early or late)

I can't keep up with this thread I tella ya....you guys are like warp speed.........

I updated the firefox and now it keeps crashing.....

Kennel club gave me an idea. Join a rescue group. They're always looking for help. Getting animals around, handling at an adoption event, doing home visits, etc... There's more to be done than just fostering animals.

Why are you using firefox? Chrome I tell ya, get Chrome.

I can keep up now....

Did you forget the "it" in that sentence? Tiff will be happy, or maybe not.

I'd love to volunteer for NDLB but I don't really have time at the moment. I would if I got this new job though...

I say volunteer for the snow-shovel fixing crew, that meets on Saturdays, to repair the broken show-shovels of the elderly ...

I have my own broken shovel, darny!

Elspeth, that's great ! You can learn more by fixing yer own, so says me.

How bout just shovel for the elderly instead of fixing their shovels?

That task should be left to the Boy Scout Troops in the area.

Or a community could get some cannibals in on H-1B visas to take care of it. Recycle/Reuse be green. Soylent Green that is.

Well if you're too busy, then you're too busy. I'm not sure what that group needs as a commitment from volunteers. Happy Tails Rescue just kind of throws it out there requesting lots of little things. At one time I was the setup guy for the adoption events. I'd get there early, make sure the Petsmart was ready, get water dishes ready, cat cages ready, table and chairs out, then handle dogs during the event, and finally helped pack things up afterwards. I had lots of time before my wife got here. Now I don't have so much time to. So fostering the dogs works well for me.
