This property was nice, 11 acres cleared grassy field. stream bordering 1100 acres NY State land. We were only a couple of thousand apart. And I would have caved, but it was over 3 hr drive. So, they had to make it worth my while. And they didn't.

Interesting, but a bunch of the questions offered no satisfactory answer for me.

Well, since I'm posting to myself at this prime communications hour, and the company-man stuff is quiet, I shall report on Mini-Bone's third and last third-birthday party, si man.

Mrs. T-B. & Mama T-B. colluded to hold this thing at a church hall, for a function fee ($135). Party hours were to be 4p to 6p, with set-up at 3:30p. Mrs. T-B. spent massive time promoting the affair on her mommy-group Facebook chica-gaggle and amongst her Ecu-Mexicana amigas. Most of the simpler edibles came from Aldi Foods, thankfully, but this was another Thomas the Train theme party, so most of the party items came from a party store instead of the dollar store. The (awful) cake was ordered at the nearest supermarket bakery, and not from the one where the previous cake came from, which was $10 cheaper and where we could use Mama T-B.'s 10% senior discount, si and no and sigh, man. On party morn, Mrs. T-B. shopped around and ended up pre-ordering 4 large pepperoni 'zas (for $38.06) from a place that promised to deliver them at 4:15p.

After most of the ice had melted, I emanated from the casa to run errands, including:

1. Getting badly-needed air in the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile's tyres;

2. Stopping at bank to learn how much interest had been earned in 2013 ($1.30);

3/Many. Pre-paying for the 'zas;

4/Many. Getting the sludgy oil changed in the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile;*

5/Many. Getting panicked call from Mrs. T-B.: "Have you picked up the cake yet?"

6/Many. Ransoming cake as planned and beelining back to the casa.

Arrived at casa with 25 minutes to groom self to dictated standards, load the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile with the staggering amount of edibles & party #######, clean off T-B.-mobile front passenger seat, and drive T-B.-mobile to pick up Mama T-B. at appointed minute (any of which Mama T-B. beefs loudly and lengthily about if ever missed).

Retrieved Mama T-B. and arrived at church 2 minutes before Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B., who somehow made it precisely at the planned 3:30p. Organized edibles & party ####### on 8-foot tables by command. Got blistered by Mama T-B. for snacking on the overabundance of crackers, et al., which act was a predetermined effort to not pig out on the 'zas, see man.

First guests arrived at 4:05; next guests at 4:14; 'zas at 4:15. Other guests began arriving starting 4:25. Tried to test several slices of 'za for quality, taste, etc., but was either intercepted or blistered by Mama T-B. Mini-B. and contemporaries repaired to the indoor play-area, fortunately accompanied by Mama T-B., which act mercifully enabled the personal eating of Many slices of 'za.

The guests, both parents and googies, were well-behaved, as was Mini-B., wee man. Sang "Happy Birthday" to Mini-B. at 5:10p and dissected the cake. Ingested more 'za while assemblage was distracted by the cake, whee man.

Somehow got place cleaned up and all guests ejected by 6p, which resulted in the return of the $200 cancellation/damage-deposit check, whee man. Managed to corral the speedily roaming Mini-B. Loaded the substantial remainders of edibles (including 15/16ths of a 'za) into the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile; loaded Mini-B.'s presents and Mama T-B. into the T-B.-mobile. Got blistered by Mama T-B. for eating too much; offered to barf it up onto Mama T-B. if said act would ensure her happiness. Dropped Mama T-B. at her casa; returned to home casa simultaneously with Mrs. T-B. and the completely-zonked-out Mini-B., wee zzz man. Emptied -mobile trunks and fed miffed cat her can of soft glop while Mrs. T-B. carried completely-zonked-out Mini-B. up to bedroom. Dealt with immediately spoilable edibles, agreed heartily with Mrs. T-B. that we would never undertake such an activity again, then took roaring siesta for an hour with somewhat-mollified cat.

Awoke unwillingly in time to blow out to CVS Drug to avail self of several coupons on store specials, saving 37% off rack rate. Returned to casa to behold Mini-B. joyously playing with multiple appropriate and surprisingly expensive gifts, unwrapped by the unnapped Mrs. T-B. Well-napped Mini-B. bounced around till 11:30p but finally zzz'd out again, along with exhausted Mrs. T-B.

Despite the current late hour, it is planned to arise at close-to-o'dark-thirty for some rather nearby ESs & GSs. It is not known whether said plan will be abandoned when infernal alarm-clock buzzes far too early, huh man.

*The Mrs.-T-B.-mobile has an "oil-life indicator" that was down to 2%. This was after approx. 6,000 (Many) miles and a surprising 7.5 (Many) months. I'm told that the GM engineers designed this to be rather conservative, but I watched the oil as it drained, and it was not very healthy. I'm used to the old way of 3 (Many) changes every 10,000 (Many) miles or every 3-to-4 (Many) months, see man.
