Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Teaching my mom how to use whatsapp today...should be fun...sleepy.gif She has also decided she wants a data plan on her phone (instead of the prepaid thing she uses). Gotta figure out how to enforce an automatic data cap so she doesn't rack up hundreds of dollars in bills by accident.

I'm so stupid, as I've yet to suggest

an intervention on her, done by YOUR family members.

I did try to warn you - the dichotomy of a Malay-Chinese, or straights-born Chinese, is NOT the same as other Chinese. However, you've a powerful Chinese family of yer own, even if you fail to recognize it, so it makes more sense to me, to have a 'Steve-Family-Smackdown' style of intervention, bringing financial statements along with future projections (both on your stuff and Tiff's family stuff) into the intervention.

Mostly, you just be in the room, not talk with Tiff directly, but act as interlocuter with your other family members, asking them the questions in the form of, "What would you do, given this exact situation?" and going over the 12 to 14 situations that you need sorted, one at a time, waiting for a family member's response. Then have the family member go over it again, that person asking Tiff directly what her action plan is, or telling her directly that she has to stop on that one situation. Keep it focused, per each situation, do not overlap until each situation is dealt with. It's easier to preface with 'and another thing' but do not do that at all. Let your family members and Tiff slug it out. Seriously - not talk directly to her.

Gotta agree with Nola - you gotta have some hard conversations with Tiff and work out the budget for the family - who pays what, how often, etc. Don't think it's a good idea to involve family - might make the situation even more volatile. Maybe a neutral third party person.
