I am 33.3% good and 12.8% lawful. Apparently so was the dalai lama...

the people in my group were Superman and Abraham Lincoln lol

maybe. what's the model and year? anything this century is mostly front-wheel drive, and i not like those.

well maintained 740 and 940 can be found under 2K . don't worry about the miles, seek the mechanics logbook and timing belt replacement stickers. not have those, when inspecting? walk away, as current owner is a tardo.

anyway - if you find one well maintained, it's a good purchase. however, scheduled maintenance MUST BE DONE or the car falls apart after the next 10,000 miles. Volvos are unique - if you do the scheduled maintenance religiously, the car will never die. Not do the scheduled maintenance? Well, yer a tardo.

I am copying and pasting all this car advice into a file so i know somewhat what i am doing when I actually do have the money to get a car.

ya, that's a decent car for the mileage and price. still, when you get ready to purchase, spend 300 more for another mechanic to check it out, prior to purchasing.

Thanks. The office IS quieter. I thought I'd take a day off and shut myself off from the world. But I guess not.

On the other hand, I AM loving the sell off these last couple of days.....

You've never had a Honda Accord, have you? Lol

Yep, my first car. Transmission kept slipping, couldn't make it going up at hill at more than 30-40. Terrible. I got it for my 16th birthday, but sold it soon after. Learned to drive on a Volvo s80 instead.

no, you missed the part where they found an apt and is moving in a couple of weeks. May be after the chinese new year?

dude I was gonna get an electric one. I dun have a lot of frontage, and driveway is short. Not a lotta space in NYC

You're still believing the moving out story? Who's going to pay the rent? You?

And electric snow blower? Turn in your man card!

I have no idea how to rate an electric snowblower. Those are things women here might buy, then struggle with, so the guy next door will take pity and blow out her driveway.

Obviously Steve is the one wearing the skirt in house.. his wife is walking all over him on family matters

Maybe he should just heed Betty White's advice: "If you wanna be tough, grow a vxxxxx." content.gif

We always wanted to buy a snow blower at the beginning of the winter but then never materialized. sleep.png

Which brand of snow blower would you recommend?

so, sit in the office, remove battery from handphone. Change VM announcement on handphone to say, only, "Hi ! This is Steve - I am working from the office today, so if you need something now, do not leave a message. Come by the office instead, do not call me"

Report back, at the end of the day - let us know about all of the mischief you handled face to face, and in person.
