Good thing you're the USC, or I'd tell Aliban to ship you back.

If I had a fenced yard, I'd probably do exactly as you do though. Then just complain at cleanup time.

How can you say it doesn't look bad? Its got friggen peas in it!

My daughter likes peas in rice, she sifts them out to one side and eats the rice and peas separately :)

It's gonna be like this for a few days here

f'ing gd-d@mn sunbeechin wop'ed out weather. ice? Houston? FML!

I'm just happy this will be another nice test for the greenhouses.

Uncle Darnell's Barbarian Cold-Weather Dressing Tips:

Wind is a killer.. Need to stop wind getting to yer body.

1. wear a hat, it stops the heat from escaping.

2. wear gloves.

3. get some duct tape, put around your wrist area, closing the gaps between coat and wrist. not like duct tape? use heavy string or light rope.

4. use a scarf, inside the coat, as wind buffer/killer. do not use duct tape around yer neck (as that is sorta stupid)

5. tie a rope around your hip-level (this usually below waist line) and cinch it tight - this stops wind from going up yer body.

6. loose pants at ankle? more duct tape, use at ankles.

that's it, that's all. use most of my tips, you not freeze.

OK - gussied up for the ladies.

1. wear two knit hats as it stops the heat from escaping.

2. wear gloves.

3. when yer inside, and close to yer sewing machine and kleins/pliers, measure and cut bungee cord segments for:

__a. wrists

__b. waist

__c. ankles

__d. [optional] neck

Pick yer own bungee cord connectors, then apply them to each end of the bungee cords.

4. apply bungee cords to ankles, wrists, waist and [if needed] the neck.

5. use a scarf, inside the coat, as wind buffer/killer. do not use duct tape around yer neck (as that is sorta stupid)

I always think of duct tape for emergencies, then later, as I calm down, I suss out how to use the bungee cord. Bungee cord is amazing. Cold Sucks!

Very strange, the reported local temp has just suddenly jumped to 2 degrees. But everywhere around here is still report double digit negatives. Is someone messing with the neighborhood weather station?

Interns. Maybe.

Darnell have you ever watch The Red Green Show? He always says duct tape is the handy mans secret weapon. I've used duct tape to make bandages before, I have boys bandages don't last long in my house, plus with them I needed something that would hold up.

No snow blower here, but when I lived in Canada I was going to buy one by the end of the winter my 6 car driveway was only big enough for 1 car. Couldn't toss the snow high enough over the banks.

Hey any of you guys have a snow blower? I'm about to give in and buy one. Need review.

Do you want a review from someone that lives in

--the New England Area?

--the Great Lakes Area?

--The Pacific Northwest?

or some other uncultured neck of the woods, replete with bear shat? ;)

Well, can't. Most are legal.

And, you think ICE gonna come to get 1 or even a dozen in NYC?

slowly, since yer on inferior gear.
