so the food came out pretty well...everyone loved it yay !

indication of how "smart" I am: Decided to take a walk....put on clothes, layers of clothes and headed out. Walked for about an hour until I realized that my entire arm was exposed to the cold (jacket is very wide and I did not have gloves and my under shirt's sleeves went up and well...yah).....could not feel my arm, could not move it lol Totally freaked out and walked back fast to warm it up, took about 30 mins lol

Divorced as of September, 2014

Glad your supper turned out for you.

I've always hated that cold feeling, the worse is when you get snow up into what ever gap you missed to close up.

Hope your arm is back to normal now.

Uncle Darnell's Barbarian Cold-Weather Dressing Tips:

Wind is a killer.. Need to stop wind getting to yer body.

1. wear a hat, it stops the heat from escaping.

2. wear gloves.

3. get some duct tape, put around your wrist area, closing the gaps between coat and wrist. not like duct tape? use heavy string or light rope.

4. use a scarf, inside the coat, as wind buffer/killer. do not use duct tape around yer neck (as that is sorta stupid)

5. tie a rope around your hip-level (this usually below waist line) and cinch it tight - this stops wind from going up yer body.

6. loose pants at ankle? more duct tape, use at ankles.

that's it, that's all. use most of my tips, you not freeze.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Well I'm from a french family so no, not turning into a hill billy they seem to call supper dinner here. Lunch is just lunch, but in french lunch is dinner so I don't call supper dinner it's just backwards.

We went to Outback for supper, I have their version of chicken Alfredo it was OK but I've had much better Alfredo. So I will be following you pain with GErD. Because of course I had to have desert too

You mean they call dinner supper.....

And they called someone who is finished with their career.."retard"

You have to eat Alfredo in NY. The Aussies only know kangaroo. Not know how to make pasta.

Would you eat rice in a pizza joint?

They definitely do not do pasta justice, but steak just does not appeal to me at this time. I miss real Italian places, we had a large Italian population back home and now I miss the good stuff.

Ugh Pizza joints around here are not much better, we did find one that is good but it's still lacking.
