So they sent you a new phone, that works, but is locked to carrier not in your country? Or does it work but just has the logo you don't like? Can't you replace the logo if its not locked?

If I recall, congress gave a lot of workers and indefinite holiday without pay not long ago. They called it a shut down.

Some companies calculate holiday hrs worked on a semiannual basis (Esp the companies where you work a lot of holidays). And you get a bigger check on those dates. Did you inquire?
