Look like I might be having a phone interview on Tuesday next week....still waiting on call in number but "fingers crossed".

Last post on page and therefore unread, but my premonitions are that you might be having a phone interview on Tuesday next week. Keep your fingers crossed until you no longer have to wait for the call-in number, si ma'am.

I have a generic international school accent. I'm not gonna try to make it more American just to fit in. I hope that doesn't mean I have an attitude problem.

American-only outside the regional forums, see man.

real men watch...WWE, and Monday night football ! And AC/DC concerts. Yeah man!

And, when possible, Women's Beach Volleyball.

So we had a brown christmas.

My best hyskool buddy used to eat yellow snow, pee man.

I still remember an entire conversation in which I thought the Dane meant "swims" when he was in fact saying "shrimps".

Some months ago, I came home, and this dialogue ensued:

Mrs. T-B.: I bought you cheap.

T-B.: What did you say?

Mrs. T-B.: I bought you cheap.

T-B.: You bought me cheap? What the dickens does THAT mean? I'm not that cheap. And don't let Immigration hear you say that.

Mrs. T-B.: Cheap, CHEAP! I bought you CHEAP!

Further investigation revealed that she had gone to the store and bought a bag of potato cheaps, si man. headbonk.gif

The above is why we don't say the words "beach" or "sheet" in our casa, si and no man.

Last few pages were boring, talking about ice in winter, zzz man. Fortunately, I have arrived to redeem the thread, see man. tongue.png

Mini-B. had a great birthday, going out with a little friend and then to Mama T-B.'s for some major spoiling, wee man. Mrs. T-B. is currently performing major reconstruction on the downstairs, in prep for the family party on Saturday. I hesitate to venture down to empty the dishwarsher, sigh man.

I must retire early tonight; Mrs. T-B. wants me back from errands earlyish, which means my arisal (arisal, n. - the state of arising) at o'dark-thirty, sigh man. However, little does she know that some of said errands include GSs (garage sales), which will irk her mightily if she inkles (inkle, v. - to get an inkling of) my diabolical plan.

Of course, I ought to warsh the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile and get the oil changed, but the GS offerings (two mass indoor affairs at hyskools) are too appealing, see man.

I shall hereby off-log to perform the aforementioned duties, c u man.

The stirring spoon doesn't behave quite right in the new X-1 experimental coffee mug.....the bottom is a little too narrow, reducing the maximum elliptical stirring velocity......thus not dissolving the sugar property to epitomize the taste........

I guess you didn't rethink that purchase...

Or you just have to buy a spoon strictly dedicated to that mug.

And this is what Mrs. T-B. has evolved into, see man:

She looks lovely. What massively full lips she has!

New upstairs neighbours are horrid. They listen to music or loud movies until like midnight, which I mostly can ignore because I use headphones, (but I feel bad for the other upstairs guys as they have a baby and share a wall) and are now building something on their little deck at 8:20 in the morning. On a saturday. They stomp around elephants too. /ugh Can i have the old ones that do laundry at 11pm?

isn't there some sort of policy on after hours noises ? Like...after 10pm no noise and not before 9am ? (weekends)

GC received on the 28th of February, 2014 - no interview, no additional RFE's

Divorced as of September, 2014

NOA1 for ROC 14 October, 2014

Life goes on, my ex-husband is a moron.

Likely there is, but I'm not sure what the rules are. They're on the lease which I don't have a copy of. BUT which I will get a copy of on Monday because I want it for our ROC.

there ought to be. But on a Friday night. It usually states what is "Reasonable"

at least that is how NYC Administrative code is written.

Of course, buildings have their own rules.

yah probably good idea to find out and share your "concern" with the person responsible for the building.

That is the one thing I miss about Switzerland. Nobody dares to make noise after 10pm or early mornings. My neighbor only made noise 1x after 10pm at night and she asked me 3x if she could and made sure i knew a week in advance... also complained that I had used my curtains (electric) at 5am before work and she would hear it so yah....I prefer that to what you are dealing with...sorry. :(

so it states "reasonable" in order to not have to deal with it. Everyone has a different view of what's reasonable so you cannot complain ? lol Geez.

yesterday was a gorgeous day here. Warm, and sunny. Today is crappy........

lucky you. It was really cold yesterday. Not sure how the weather is today..did not look.

Spent most day yesterday answering questions for job application (Oregon State Uni)...the worst thing about that is...if I don't get the interview it will hurt double since it was a personal letter and answers.
