That's cool, the Dane wants a Thor's hammer, but he is way too picky to probably ever get it done.

Sounds like fun! I love reading!

Yeah, hubby took ages to decide what he wanted. I somehow feel like he's going to want another after this one, but it's going to have to wait. More important stuff to be wasting money on than tattoos at the moment. :P

I usually do, too, but gah, this is ridiculously boring material. My dad and brother both love history, but it puts me to sleep. Plus, this class starts at 1500 and moves its way up to present day, so... errhh. Snoozeville for the first couple weeks.

I just thought I had arthritis and was getting old.

Unfortunately, I just can't get out of the habit of bending the knee so I know that doesn't help.

I don't sit like that anymore, but I can't control when I sleep like that and also I'm constantly kneeling on the bed (dammit that sounds awful).

I do perler beads and I lay them all out on the bed and sit on my knees and do it.

My wife complains about her knees after that to.

I understand the bad habit with how you place your legs, I've been fighting bad habits with that since I was 17, when the problem was first found. Once the muscles that hold the knee cap in place are strengthened, it will get much better. After the pain goes away, the returning pain is a reminder to do the exercises and not to keep your legs in the wrong position. I liked to put my right foot on my left knee when I'm sitting, took years to break that habit, as doing so pushes the knee cap out the the groove again.

Darnell I hope your father keeps improving.

Peroxide and cotton balls work great for cleaning out dogs ears. I had to use it a lot with my old Lab. She had that thick black ####### in her ears.

Plumbers should be here any time now or I'd be in bed sleeping :(

BLAH! yeah it only take a few minutes to feel the pain in my knee.

But I can't control at all what I do at night.

I just naturally pull it up to my chest when sleeping.

good morning everyone

so last night we finally took the dog to the vet since she was bleeding from her neck and what not and had fever. They made incision and took out all the gross stuff there was a lot.....she is on meds. Nobody would touch her so I am putting warm compressions on her and making sure she is ok. Asleep now thankfully.

took shower, interview page prepared, had smoothie. Now waiting.

Making chicken cordon bleu today.

No one would touch her besides you? Cruel ranting33va.gif

Ask your hubby to tie you up at night. He'd probably enjoy it, and its good for your knees.

Once you strengthen up the muscles holding the knee cap, you can get away with your bad habits better.

Darnell, best of luck with your dad. I hope everything turns out alright! sad.png

Hubby is getting his first tattoo today. I have to work so I can't go with him. He's a little nervous, to say the least. tongue.png

So, at work I'm the youngest person by an easy 20 years (possibly more). Everyone has been very friendly so far, but one guy in particular seems convinced I'm a moron and need an explanation on how to do everything. Like, I appreciate the sentiment but I can file just fine on my own. :|

You have to come up with a really subtle smartass dig at him. It will leave him wondering if you love him or hate him...but he'll catch on soon enough.

I'll have to try that when she settles down a little from this morning's jaunt. She really doesn't like her hair being pulled, so much so that we don't brush her and just have the groomer shave her. Part of this stems from them leaving her ear hair long and it getting caught in the wax. She looks almost exactly like this, except her body is shaved.

The food in the hospital here is fantastic. They have a full menu and you can order whatever you want each day.

Very pretty dog!

I wish they had more to pick from, I was told so many lies from ppl on how good the food was. I guess they don't eat much other then TV dinners and the real cheap kind.
