They think their story/timeline is "special". tongue.png I chose to hide all signatures a while back. Especially those wih moving pictures (I'm looking at you Darnell).

I show them if they're short, like yours. I don't even mind the moving ones, but I prefer them not I hate the ones with movies. #######? why do you need a YouTube movie in your friggin signature.?

I've gotten a little bored of my animated gif, it might be on the way out.

They need a youtube video because their love is THAT epic that only a youtube video with a slideshow of pictures of their fiancee's ### will truly capture the magic.

Reporting in - Dad's mostly ok, but they are looking harder for the location of the stroke, hoping it was not an infarction (bleeding in the brain).

He's had some stints prior, so that complicates things for them.

I got here about 30 mins after he was admitted to the ER - he's been stabilized (TPA med given prior to the flight, Thank Gods) for about 7 hours now. His wife showed up, amazed by the difference, so that's a plus.

I think he's gonna pull through, but am deeply concerned about location of the stroke.

catscan results were ok, and that bothered the docs, as they could not find the stroke in the catscan, so an MRI was done, but no real reading of the results till about 4:00 AM.

He's complaining still of headaches (which was the first symptom this morning) and he's in the f'ing stroke unit - I had high hopes the @#$ing nurses here would know what that really means (still pressure in the stroke area) and give him something stronger than @#$ing tylenol ,

but....

that hasn't happened yet. still, he's at the best place in the medical center and on constant monitoring with telemetry, and the nurses don't know what to think of me (I have no accent and my father's accent reverted back to hillbilly and they think is some problem) as i was stern with the first 3 shifts using stenorian-type language.

The overnight nurse is cool, paki educated at Manchester Medical in the UK, and we understand each other very well.

My sis just arrived, I'm going to scamper.

eh - kiss my fingers, woman !

I had to turn off sigs ages past cause of a bling'd out sig thingie for another user - then when the I-130 was approved I decided to add in my own moving piktures...

you'll note I mostly turn off my sign here in this topic, or Cary and Steve start complaining they can't get no work done :D it's a clickie thing, easy peasie from a pc.

for all of my timeticks - hey ! it's in my profile ! easier to read there, it's never forced on the user/reader/guest users.

Wanna see sigs? Come back as a guest, not log on - you'll see em. I do have a special bit o text in there for the newbies.

OK - that taxed my brain and I think Tarklar got the interest payment.

Come on, you could name him Obama Junior. Or at least Junior, as that's a good southern given name.

LPoP and unread, but if you named him 0bama Junior ("OJ"), his nickname could be the good Southern name "Junior," si man.

Nope - I know all them towns already - no maps. I sh|t you not.

I dumpster dive at industrial, electrical, electronical places. Sure, I wear some special gear, but oh my, the things I repurpose. My most useful dives occur at the dumpsters outside of new construction (house or building) and house remodels. I never understand why these #@%ing illegal immigrant workers throw this stuff away, as it's gold to others. I guess they not have a cousin with a trailer on a truck to haul it off for resale.

I not dumpster dive so much since the accident (read - not at all) and I am actually scared to attempt it .

So, maybe we can push Steve to take his daughter out on the GS and ES sale thingies, let her pick the items for his office redo.

that'd be sweet, remind him of her, daily, and all through the day, whilst pounding sand in the office

[i'm surrounded by incompetents, but at least my daughter's decorations are so cool ! And she's the reason I stay here, driving up sales and my quarterly performance bonuses]

@#$@K ! MRI results back, nothing conclusive for location, all stuff within norms. footprint of a transient Ischemia attack found, so that's something.

He's stable for the overnight, let's see what is going to be next for the testing.

He was just walked to the toilet, handled his business unassisted, and was walked back to bed. OMG - that was amazing.

Sis taking over for the overnight, I'm 200 feet away in the most god-awful uncomfortable padded chairs, they are unmoveable.

Glad that Sis D is there, Bro D.

Papa D sounds tough -- good sign, si man.

They'll find out what's wrong, soonish. Meanwhile, prayers from here.

Try to relax, and think about Mrs. D's imminent arrival. Report thereon, soonish.

Must off-log nowish to empty very full dishwarsher/cat/prep/zzz, man.

glad to hear he's stable and is mobile. hospital chairs are awful...hope you can find a lounge in the building with better chairs to get some decent rest.
