and I hate the new yahoo finance webpage

How to set the font size for all webpages

You can adjust the size of text on webpages.

1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click Show advanced settings.
4. In the "Web Content" section, use the "Font size" drop-down menu to make adjustments.

Some websites prevent the browser from changing just text size. For those sites, Chrome won’t be able to adjust the font size.

here's a doosie....

Parking spaces are precious in NYC. My neighborhood exploded with population nearby (mainly illegal fooks from China). They all have cars and my block is wide and spacious, they all love to park here. The houses on my block are all detached with driveways. I have a driveway big enough for 2 cars. OK, Every thrusday and friday, there's no parking on one side of the street for 1.5 hrs so that sweepers can clean the street. Known as Alternate Side Parking. OK, so thats the back drop.

My driveway currently have in it, a trailer and an ATV. So I parked my cars on the street. On the Friday side. Gump comes home thrusday nights. And the Fooks have already hogged up all the spaces by the time he gets home. He has to hunt for a space.

Well last night, Tiff sees a space on the other side of the street, and parks the CRV over there so that Gump can come home and use the driveway opening to park. Gump comes home, parks there and blocks my driveway.

Come 1130 this morning. No one moves the CRV. It gets a ticket for Alternate side.

Question. Who gets the bill?

NYC tickets are notoriously expensive. This one is 65 bucks I think.

Vet school is harder to get into in the the USA than medical school to.

I don't understand how vets can be so high paid in Canada. What do you do, pay $2000 to spay your dog?

The entire animal care business is low paid because more people want to work in the field than there is a market for services for. And the schools are generally willing to accept money to train someone, even if there is no job market, or a poor job market.

There millions of pets in north america who need yearly shots etc. For one dog we had, to keep him alive it cost us close to 5k and that was with the vet absorbing some of the cost because of a rarely done procedure. My horse cost 600 just for a vet to come out and pull a dead foal. The c-section was 3k minimum. Animals Are expensive. If a stallion that charged 2k for each mare to be bred gets sick, its worth it to the owner to pay whatever the charge is to fix him. Also Many people dont get Pet insurance, but its a good thing.

Kit - I'd not worry about the accent at all, at the very most it is simply cute the mistakes foreigners make. I still remember an entire conversation in which I thought the Dane meant "swims" when he was in fact saying "shrimps". His Rs have become better pronounced so I can't make fun of him for sounding like Elmer Fudd anymore.

Might sound horrible but I would never pay 5000 to keep a dog alive. I would for a person or a breeding stallion or whatever, but a dog? No.

googling it, you can't get the old one back. Some one mentioned setting up their favorite stocks getting close. Did you do that in firefox? Never hung out at yahoo finance, so I can't say what the old or new one looks like.

I have the old yahoo finance pegged on the Firefox home page. It comes up as the old one. the new one sucks eggs.

Yahoo ruined their regular home page too.

Alternate side and expired meter are cheap. Others are expensive, like hydrant, bus stop etc...

I didn't put the car there. Last I saw the CRV it was blocking my driveway. Which is fine.
