A tough job that the cops do is, in the 20 minutes that they spend with the parties, determine a primary aggressor.

If that determination is made. He may be asked to leave. May or may not be arrested.......there's a set of laws for family offenses.

If no primary aggressor is identified, and it's a mere verbal dispute. And the police feel that no one is in any imminent danger. And no one is a danger to himself and others. All parties can remain.

Yikes!! I can't see myself making it that far, lots of pre labour happening already, last baby was 10 days early. So fingers crossed he comes at least a day earlier.
