I am not sad per se and thank you, it is an experience and it is one I am responsible for as much as he is so no feeling bad just things to learn and never do again ...well and figuring out what's next.

My ex-husband never got me a Valentine's day or any other gift. He thought paying for my other expenses was more than enough.

The Dane has no idea what to buy me and I probably would never wear any jewelry he picked out as evidenced by him attempting to pick out an engagement ring before I took over. I think it would be mean for me to let him buy me something that I would just kind of shove in a drawer. I also really am in desperate need of some earrings and I am incredibly picky.

He is picking out his gift too if that makes it any better.

On the island of Leyte, he is fattened. A friend of mine who lives on Leyte, had a dog she loved and spoiled. One day when she was out with it and not paying attention, it disappeared. She was always getting comments on how good her dog looked, but what they meant by good, was different than what we'd mean.
