had a beer sampler with my suicide wings (not spicy at all, had to add a liberal amount of tabasco)...am tipsy now. my alcohol tolerance spiked in my early 20s and is now on a steady decline. that saison was really yummy though...

rlogan, is rather hard core in his opinions. He does make some valid points pretty often, but can come off as pretty harsh. Also if he's wrong about something, he'll never admit it as far as I can tell. I think its the old school teacher in him, I've known many a school teacher that assumes they're never wrong, after all they're teachers and teachers teach so they can't be wrong, right?

i read some of his more astute posts some time back referencing "In Sheep's Clothing" which I've enjoyed reading over and over again (the book, not his posts). But I disagree with his reply to the other Singaporean poster (her husband misheard 'tip' for 'keep') because if he thinks a snafu over pronunciation can cause such a serious fracture in a relationship, then it is the relationship that needs work, not the accent.

Anyway, I have a generic international school accent. I'm not gonna try to make it more American just to fit in. I hope that doesn't mean I have an attitude problem.

Just so you know, even us born and raised in Minnesota folks are complaining about this winter. It has not been a normal winter. Still I don't blame you for wanting to live in a warmer climate. I plan to do the same myself come retirement.

That's what everyone was telling me last winter, when it was still snowing in May! I'm starting to think this is something said every winter, to convince us that winter is not really this bad, it's just a bad year! :)

This winter is definitely much colder than last winter. I think I'd rather the long winter of last year, and not this bone-freezing cold. The wind yesterday was brutal.
