That nearby university has other positions. If'n I was in yer shoes with a masters degree, I'd get a gig there as a secretary, an admin staff, a money counter, or even a horse-washer, as long as it was on the uni's payroll,

then

apply for the internal gigs they not advertise, available only to current employees.

Why? great benefits, free tuition, and yer out of the house earlier .

Sometimes location is important, when beginning yer plan of world domination. Yer domiciled at the moment, so IMO start it nearby.

I dunno...I could keep studying for no better reason than just bettering myself not necessarily because I need to get a job in that field. I just want to learn and learn and learn....so just saying...it is good you are studying. Broaden your horizons or something like that

Don't get me started on diets....I have been eating way too much....lost track of myself and just eat to do something...today is the turning point. No more binge eating (is that the word ?). Walking and walking and walking it is. The treadmill scares me...starts smelling burned after 40 mins.

It has been years, like since I was pregnant, so at least 5 years and I haven't had a serious job for 6. My husband is right though, school is more of a hobby to me and he just doesn't get it coming from his background.

He would follow me but then that would mean that he will never work, lay in bed whole day and complain that it is too hot and how he wants pizza. I am 99% sure of that. And yes I do mean I have to pay him back. In fact, we had a convo about it a couple of days ago. He doesn't feel like I need to pay him back for food (he did not say that but I told him it was not fair if he wanted me to pay him and he said nothing so i will go with - "i dont need to") but he sure wants money for all the extras - half of AOS, doctor appointment, phone, adapter for pc that died on me etc.

Either way....I don't even have the job yet. If they give me a good offer then I will think about what to do.

not at all. I agree with you. It was my blindness. I should have known better and I did not. He did keep a lot of things from me knowing it would stop me from moving (and he did confess to that 2 days ago) but I am not dumb and part of me knew and I did not listen.
