Where is/was everyone today, huh man? Perhaps silence, like the retriever, is golden, shhh man.

'Twas a decent Monday, si man, unless that's an oxymoron, si man.

Wore new, newly polished Ecco shoes and found them to be exceptionally comfortable, whee man.

Worked like a feverish ####### and caught up from last week, whee man.

Listened to bossette moan for half an hour about inadequacies of recently departed staff member (who hid work) and got thanks for being a sympathetic ear, whee man.

On drive home, gassed the T-B.-mobile at a derelict station for $Many/gallon ($2.859) and was hit on by only two beggars, each of whom backed off upon the issuance of a psycho-screamed "NO!"

Called home phone company to ream them out about balky DSL modem that kicks us off approximately Many times a week; found out modem is still under warranty and will be replaced free, $$$$$i man. At same time, inquired about what co. was doing about the hijacking of my e-mail account by spammers in Europe; was told "password compromise" and was reset on the spot. Sent automated-survey response praising the phone rep and slamming the co., threatening to defect to their most feared competitor (we $hall $oon $ee how current co. react$, $i man).

At the casa, got massive amounts of garbage outside while soaking through only one sweat-band, schpritz man. Rooted through boxes of important papers thrown in there by Mrs. T-B. Found no unpaid bills for first time in many moons, thus preserving an unwrung spousal-unit neck. Found a dividend check from October with no expiration date on it; called issuer; learned that negotiability is good for Many months (2 x 3), whee and $i, man.

The only bad news was that an attempted nap failed, and the casa had no rubias in it, zzz and no man.

good morning thread, I missed you yesterday.

Beef stew came out pretty well. Ended up changing the entire recipe to make it good. Today is risotto day. Not sure with what

though.

So I have been having some problems and I read (chinese medicine) that apparently I got cold blood due to stuff.

Going to start drinking my green tea again and actually cook warm foods for myself.

I realized that if I got the job in St Kitts it would mean giving up residency here.

Well...depends on the position and the salary for one. There is other things to consider...We had spend a lot of money just so we could be together (that I still did not pay back) and I moved to be here with my now husband. Granted..so far its been more negative than positive but (80/20)....I could also hold out for a position nearby and hope that when we do move he will shape up. I don't know. I don't think it is that easy and clear cut.

We will see.

Excellent idea! It will certainly be a rude awakening for two spouses!

And Steve will probably be shocked to see food get cooked in his house.

You know what, I would move for better job opportunity. You are far too talented to waste your time being cooped up at home doing cooking, housework all day while waiting for your spouse to grow up.
