How many Fooks walk over to Texas from Mexico? you ever see them?

Yup, ran into one in a Friendswood American Chinese Cookery recently. I not chase after Fooks, they are detrimental to my wife's existence here.

USUALLY, ChinaTown-West is filled with Fooks. The normal stuff is they get hired by Taiwanese business owners, work until busted. It ain't pretty. Recently, there's been a new group of controllers from Beijing that are taking over that stuff, so it'll be fun to watch, they tend to be more bloody than the Taiwanese controllers.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

One of the reasons we decided to drop the K1 was this. I think my husband would have a darn near meltdown if I was working and he wasn't. Upsets the power balance of our relationship and all, which finally this past week clicked into place properly. luv.gifluv.gifluv.gifluv.gifwhistling.gifwhistling.gifwhistling.gif

I don't mind so much. Don't get me wrong, I don't like living off of Amy's salary even though we can do so comfortably. But I'm in no danger of a meltdown due to not working - I keep myself occupied with cooking and housework at the moment as well as the PS3 after all of that's done.

In Nola's household, that wouldn't work. They're very traditional. :)

Funny how when expectations are gone for things, relationships can relax and click into place. It'll be even better once you have your own place. :)

My household too.....

LAWL.

Well traditionally spending money is the wife's job and earning it is the man's. Minus all the rest of the "wife's jobs."

Well, whatever works for each person. It doesn't make me a lesser person to do housework, living alone for many years has taught me that much.

Anyway. After we both did our own things yesterday, I managed to get a full set of my models for $200. Now they just need painting and in a few cases some minor repairs.

Well you know what I mean. I like providing for my family. It fills my void. But I don't like what tiff does with her money.

Strangely I caught myself complaining to my hubs about what he spends money on yesterday. I'm rather annoyed at myself because he spends it on something he spends 9 hours a day doing, I just don't think he adds up the cost of moving a character vs just creating a new one because leveling sucks. But at least he's starting to realize he needs to figure out where we spend money because we make enough together, that we should be saving, but we're not.

Oh no it certainly doesn't. In fact I think a man should know how to do all those things! Men should never live in pigsty's and frankly I blame their parents if they do. My mother taught my brother how to do his laundry and clean a toilet. I learned how to change my own oil and put on a spare tire. I fear my daughter will not know how to do either of those things living with her father. Teaching your child how to look after themselves completely and independently should be the job of every parent in the world. They need to be able to survive, on their own, when they leave the nest, just like every other animal does. Humans coddle their children entirely too much. That doesn't mean a 10 year old needs to know how to do a balanced budget, but they can certainly know how to make themselves snacks and lunch, how to get ready for the day without being told every 5 mins, how to sort laundry, and how to clean a bathroom.
