10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Rofl!

So we got word today the buyers are finally clear to close and hope to close on Monday. Yippee! I hope that this goes well. We are stuck at my mother's house through the end of May at least though because his parents are coming to visit. I've been told that I'm expected to start speaking Danish. How about I just speak Norwegian? Sounds like a plan.

Hey hey heyyy! We also have an 05 Focus that is nearing 200,000 miles and has never given us a problem. My dad bought it new, drove two hours to work and two hours back for years, taught my brother and I (and hubs, now that I think of it) how to drive in it, and passed it onto us to use as our commuter car to school. It's been quite reliable. :) It's all about upkeep. My brother has an F150

that works just fine, too. So keep yer back luck awayyy! :P

call up the nail grils to meet up in chinatown, bring the kiddo with you, scamper off for the weekend.

CNY sometimes is about family unity, and the re-unification of families. Since that's not happening with your immediate family yet it is with Tiff's family,

you really should scamper.

I just got a call from the office that hired me. I start work on Monday. :) yay!
