next question. How many of you have eaten "Stinky Tofu"?

go fishing

stinky tofu ?

Is it like the homemade "cheese" we do back at home ? Take yogurt wrap the container in towel and set it somewhere draft free....2 days later it will smell pretty bad (for some)...take cumin, dump it in a pot and cook it....it will have a booger consistency ....put some salt on it and eat it. Certainly a special taste but I like it ...especially when you burn that "cheese" a little.

I hope I can catch a break today. Man am I ever so uptight and moody.........

So was my wife all weekend. She wasn't speaking to me until Monday night when her two week late period broke through. She is totally a nut case when her PMS hits. And if she gets delayed, I swear she should be on meds. It probably saved me much grief that she choose Saturday morning go into tampo mode.

Wrong kind of fish here, it needs to be fresh tuna, fresh lapu lapu, and fresh other weird things. I do have to admit, while we can get many of these fish frozen here, the fresh is much better. Also the fresh fruit thing. She spent 30 some years getting just about any kind of fruit fresh from the trees when they ripen. There's a few that are seasonal to, but mostly you can get almost anything all year long. Here its like waiting and waiting for early picked fruit (not tree ripened) to show up.

Never heard of stinky tofu

lol. Well, any excuse will do for me wink.png

and omg the texas bbq pic !!!! biggrin.png

Special taste for special people rolleyes.gif I don't like yogurt to begin with, so I think I might not care for this, although I would try a taste.

I think they got that habit from too many people living on islands. Terrestrial animals and birds big enough to eat are pretty rare today. They've all been eaten.

I foresee her being a great duck hunter, using a crossbow.

Or Dart Blow-Gun.

I hope I can catch a break today. Man am I ever so uptight and moody.........

You should arrange for a 3 hour session of connubial bliss, in whatever form that normally or abnormally takes.

next question. How many of you have eaten "Stinky Tofu"?

I don't eat it, per se, but I add it in to stuff that I'm cooking, mushing it into a paste then tossing it into dish.

alternatively, put out a small dish of it, folk add it at the table into their ricebowls.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Does your wife chart? Periods can't really be "late" per se, just ovulating later than normal (unless of course she's on birth control). When you ovulate late, your hormones are all out of whack anyway...

She keeps a record, and while normally she's pretty on schedule, she does occasionally go early or late.

She gets intensely moody (angry) right before her period. Seriously its like dealing with a totally different person for a couple days. They the dam bursts and she's back to normal. And she doesn't use hormone BC. I sometimes wish she would actually, I've heard it can make some of these symptoms better. But she's been filled up with all these "They say" things against it.

Personal opinion here, but I think hormonal birth control is pretty dangerous. She's from a Catholic country and should be familiar with it, but if she takes her temperatures every morning and tracks other stuff, then she'll know exactly when her period is coming rather than being upset that it is off from normal.

I see that Amon Amarth is on tour and has a date in Boston this weekend with still some tickets. I am debating on whether to go.

No she doesn't do tracking that way. She isn't upset because its late, she's upset because she gets PMS very badly. I'm actually of the opinion its actually to the level of PMDD.

Has she tried any of the natural remedies yet? Less sugar/caffeine? Eating healthier? Exercising during PMS times? Has she had her progesterone levels checked during her luteal phase?

Or she only uses you as her target for her mood swing? tongue.png
