Hello everyone, I am new to this web site so please bear with me.

My girlfriend will be applying for a B-2 visa and will need a physical exam. She lives in Davao, and was told she could have the exam there. Is this true?

Does she need to go to Manila, St. Lukes for the exam? I also read in the forum that the exam is a 2 day process. Is this correct also?

12.12.2013 - I-130 approved, NOA2 via email (never transferred); shipped to NVC

01.06.2014 - requested expedite due to typhoon and PCS

The exam will only take 2 days IF a TB test has to be administered otherwise it should only take one day if you are early and in line. People start lining up as early as 4:00 am and some at 3:00.

Only B-2 classified under having medical situations such as (1.) seeking for medical treatment by US-based specialists or (2.) planning to donate an organ to a family member in US, will take the medical exam in SLEC. Do check-out Krispykreme's link.

But if she's only applying for a visitor visa with tourism or short-term business purposes, nope, she doesn't have to go to SLEC. Good luck! :)

medical is no need for B-2 visa all you need is bank statement with at least $10,000 in there or more or less it depends how long she would stay in the states and proof of coming back home...I got my B-2 visa 3years ago...goodluck and God Bless.

11/17/1998- Received first love letter from Bob (my husband now) we wrote love letters back and forth for almost 2years.

09/2/2000- First meeting in person.

09/26/2000- We got married.

01/2/2001- We both left for South Korea working at public school as an English Teacher.

08/20/2005- I came home to pursue my University Degree in Business at University of San Carlos Cebu City Philippines (USC)

10/25/2009- Got my Degree.

10/26/2009- Went back to South Korea working again.

06/12/2012- Bob officially retired.

06/14/2012- Bye bye South Korea, Welcome home Philippines.

06/22/2012- Bob and I officially owns our houses and lot in the Philippines.

08/24/2013- Sent spouse petition to USCIS.

09/26/2013- USPS notify us that our package has been received by the USCIS.

09/13/2013- Received NOA1 hard copy from USCIS.

09/13/2013- Patiently waiting for our NOA2.

12/3/ 2013 -transfered to NVC from USCIS

1/17/2014 - still no news from NVC

3/8/2014- NVC Invoice arrived paid the same day:)
