How many class rooms are teaching that the moral leader, MLK also plagiarized his doctrinal thesis or that his "I have a dream" speech was largely lifted from another Black minister, or that the recording made by the FBI are so explosive, they cannot be released.

We know about Jeffersons relationship with a Black slave, do we know about kings appetite for many women?

Why is it achievements are noted in Black history but not failures?

How many students are taught about the disaster in Liberia or the number of Blacks who fled Haiti after the failed rebellion to relocate in New Orleans, bringing so many of their own slaves the population doubled?

Perhaps Danno should do the job American just won't do.... teach a more full version of Black history?

I don't think they teach that Jefferson hooked up actively with his black slaves in K-12 public school education. I think you're confusing what is taught actively in school with what is available for reading in various books that could be studied (usually optionally) in later stages of education like college.

I think you're confusing what is taught actively in school with what is available for reading in various books that could be studied (usually optionally) in later stages of education like college.

In chemistry they teach the equivalent that 2+2=5 because that's the level of detail that you need at that level.

Needless to say you study the subject more in depth at college.

I never said he "crashed the economy", I said his political positions were instrumental in bringing it about.

As for him personally, he had barely even been in office to have much of a voting record, so you can't blame him personally.

But what we do know is the cycle of such sudden declines are always followed by a recovery..... except when Obama is in office.

My investments in Global and Developing Market funds were the only thing keeping my entire retirement portfolio from evaporating. Now that the US markets have recovered, at least temporarily, I can finally show some growth in that portfolio for the first time in the last five years -- 3% for the entire year of 2013.
