I'll say this; I think we should have American History, which includes everyone. Not just one race.

We do pretty much. I don't understand the "blowing of gaskets" over feb being black history month or BET existing. Who cares? I'm looking forward to our favorite mandatory holiday coming up Monday. Yay, day off!

I never understood why it had to be Februrary. We could get December for all I care.

As for BET? That's because back then blacks had the hardest time getting on regular television. I used to watch it when I was younger, but now, I can't stomach it. Kind of like how I loved MTV...

How many class rooms are teaching that the moral leader, MLK also plagiarized his doctrinal thesis or that his "I have a dream" speech was largely lifted from another Black minister, or that the recording made by the FBI are so explosive, they cannot be released.

We know about Jeffersons relationship with a Black slave, do we know about kings appetite for many women?

Why is it achievements are noted in Black history but not failures?

How many students are taught about the disaster in Liberia or the number of Blacks who fled Haiti after the failed rebellion to relocate in New Orleans, bringing so many of their own slaves the population doubled?

Perhaps Danno should do the job American just won't do.... teach a more full version of Black history?

Yes, yes , yes, Obama-like thinking put us in a recession.... the whole Idea that everyone deserves a house .... even those who can't meet standard mortgage requirements.

What I found funny was at one point banks were the bad guy for not giving an equal amount of loans to all groups of people, then when they started disregarding age old standards (thanks to new laws) and handing out loan which these folks then defaulted on they were then accused of being, "predatory lenders." After the market crashed, dragging the economy down.

You probably need to realise that the recession wasn't confined to the USA. What do you think has been going on in Spain, Greece, Portugal and Ireland? Are you even aware of this?
