Hi,

My Mom is sponsoring my fiance on his K1 visa. She makes above the required poverty guidelines. If I send along her employment letter from June 2013 and her 3 most recent tax transcripts, will that be sufficient for financial evidence? Do people usually only send along tax transcripts, is that enough?

Thanks!

I sent letter from employer and a 2012 tax transcript only... So far no RFE and got interview waiver letter.. So i think in our case it was enough but a lot of people prefer to send more, like paystubs, w2's, bank statements.

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.

A W2 partners with a photocopy of the tax return. Since you have transcripts, the W2s for those years are redundant. I think most people send something other than just the transcripts. Your employer letter is a little old, so maybe add photocopies of the most recent paystubs to what you have is what I would do.

Don't forget her proof of being a USC.
