Hello everyone.

I'm glad to locate a community to talk about the Visa process.

I am an American citizen and my wife is currently in India (Indian citizen). I am filling out the paperwork for Spouse visa and have finished almost all of the I-130 form. In the instructions, it says that both me and her need to complete the G325a form. On the G325a form, it lists areas for "Applicants residence/employment for last 5 years". Since i am the sponsor, I assume that i am to leave these blank and have my wife fill out these sections only on her form? Or am i to fill out my own residence/employment information even though i am not the "applicant'?

Also, on form i-130 on page 2, it asks for the address of where we last lived together. The longest amount of time we have spent with each other was 6 weeks when we got married. Other than that, we have had several trips to see eachother for a couple of weeks at a time. Any suggestions on if I should put the longest visit here in this field?

I'm always over-thinking things, so I am sorry if this is something very simple.

Thank you very much.

Hi Welcome to Visajourney,

I am indian wife to a USC husband. so I think i can help u out in this stuff.

U and ur wife have to fill out the g325a seperately. In your form, U will have to mention all ur residence and employment for last 5 years and the same for ur wife on her form.

My husband and I spent only 9 days during wedding. This was our first and recent meet. So i jus mentioned " We have not lived together yet" in that particular field. Since we dont have a particular address at we lived. He landed in his grandparents home in india and we got married, later he flew off. no long stay so i think you are in the same situation. So u jus put like i did.

All the best for successful journey :)

My husband is U.S. citizen and he filed I-130 for us one month ago.

We both put the information about our work places in the last 5 years.

I wrote them on my form, and he wrote them on his form.

Please do not forget to send that form to your wife that will have to sign it and give it back to you.

My husband and I have both lived together on a same address for 2 weeks and we put that address with the time frame we spent together on the form.

An appropriate answer for this question is "We have not yet lived together" or something to that effect. "None" is also an appropriate answer for that question. The dates you visited are not appropriate because visiting is not living together; furthermore, N/A is also inappropriate for this question because it is applicable to you.
