So I am able to come to London and want to go to my fiance's interview. We could have added this to the DS-160 form but didn't think I could come. When we called to add my name to the list they told me i couldn't come unless he was disabled. We know this to not be true. Any advice? Number to call??

The above thread will help you, however for London there's not really any particular reason for the USC to go other than company during the wait.

There is a tickbox to do that on the embassy contact form. http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html
