My fiancé had his interview today and they told him he was barred from the us for 10 years, which we knew. We thought we would be able to file a waiver and they said no. I've already contacted my lawyer to see what the next step is. How anyone experienced this?

You should look into moving to Mexico instead if its still a long way before the ban is over. Good luck.

You may want to look into living with him until his 10 year bar is over, or just wait it out apart and visit as much as possible.

Sounds like you knew about the ban in advance. What were you expecting to happen? Did your attorney suggest he would get a Visa?

I agree, he might be a great guy, but what were you thinking? What did he tell about the 2 times he was removed and why? Do you really know this guy's background?

Sincerely,

What? You aren't suggesting that they should have lied about his illigal entries? That would be VISA fraud. At least now they know that they can try again in 10 years. Had they lied I can only guess the ban would be even longer, perhaps a life time ban.

I'm sorry this has happened to you guys. I hope you can stay together as a couple perhaps visiting each other several times a year.

Good Luck and God Bless
