Need Help for Allien Registration Number

Hello Visa journey

I had applied asylum before, but i never get my date for interview and I have not apply for work permit. I did my finger print and have my Alien registration number form immigration. Now i am applying for green card through my husband he is a US citizen. Now I am in confusion what should i do on the I130 form for the Alien registration number? Should I leave empty or should i write down the number that i got during my asylum registration? I heard that once we get Alien registration number from the Immigration that will be our alien registration number forever. Is it true? Does anyone have any idea? Your suggestion will really help me.
