Hi everyone!

I am planning to send my N400 application this week. my question is what years of your Income Tax Transcript did you guys send? we haven't filed our 2013 income tax return. I have Transcripts year 2012,2011,2010.

Also planning to apply for a fee waiver, we are receiving food stamps but on the letter of approval of food stamps that we need to provide as evidence it says only my husband the Citizen who is eligible and My name and daughters name says ineligible because of citizenship requirements. but we are using it for the 3 of us(me,hubby, daughter). Will this be a problem since I'm the Applicant and not my husband?

I appreciate your response and Thanks in advance!

I submitted tax return transcripts for 2010, 2011 and 2012. You can't give them tax return transcripts that you never filed with the IRS in the first place, so don't worry about it. They can't reasonably expect you to show paperwork for tax year 2013 at this point in time, but once you get to the interview and if that's after April 15th, they may ask you for proof that you filed your 2013 tax return at that point.

Can't help with the food stamps question, sorry.

2013 filing should be just about to begin,no need to worry about that,i believe 90% of citizens haven't file 2013 yet and most likely will do that in april.

or later with extension.so don't worry, take whatever you have.

We were in this same situation when sending in the tax transcripts in the early part of the year, but by the time we received the interview appointment, was well past that April 15th filing date, so wife brought those in for her interview. And yes, her IO wanted to see them.

Our key reason for applying for the three year, besides getting free from the USCIS, went through living hell during that crazy I-751 stage, was so my wife didn't have to maintain her foreign passport. That sure didn't work out for us, according to the DOS had to maintain it anyway. Another was that I-864, if my wife had a precondition, you never know, already happened to me with my own family, they kicked my kid off my health insurance policy. Blew all of my savings paying for his medical expenses. But this didn't happen to us with my wife or stepdaughter.

But did feel like I had my head in a noose. Voting was a bad joke, candidates were already chosen before we had a chance to vote. For local elections, 95% of them ran unopposed, But the USCIS points out the most important part of becoming a US citizen is the right to vote.

I assume the reason your husband is receiving food stamps is because he can't find a decent job, can only blame our government for this, they are giving our country away with more BS on this Pacific trade agreement, the crooks. Would think you should be okay as it was he that applied for this needed service and not you. To the best of my knowledge, what he does with this food is not checked, like even selling it or sharing it with you.

To the best of my knowledge this food stamp issue was never questioned.

Obamacare, sure didn't help us, our heath insurance rates increased by another $2,000.00 this year. USCIS is of no help either, in the last few years, didn't have an inflation fee increase of a few percentage points. More than doubled the fees, so not easy to look at them as friends. But you still have to be very very nice. They are the ones that are holding an ax over our heads.
