My mom is in the process of gathering civil docs for the IV Packet. And the IV fee shows as "paid" already. My sis went to nbi today to secure the nbi clearance, Unfortunately, nbi scheduled her to comeback until feb 6... or 3 weeos from to date,, Can she send all the docs to nvc without the nbi clearance...then my sis will just take it with her on her interview? tia

Hi. I would recommend to complete all the documents first before submitting to NVC as to save you time and money. it will take about 20 to 30 business days for NVC to review the documents. And if they find out that you don't have the NBI they will send you a checklist to comply with the missing documents before your mom case can be tagged as documentarily qualified or case complete. This was based on my experience when I submitted my civil documents to NVC. ;)

No. NVC will require the NBI clearance. Might as well wait for it before sending the IV package.

If you send the IV package without the NBI, she'll probably get a checklist for it for submission to NVC. Same thing, it will cause a delay.
