Hi! We just had our interview today in Chicago. Everything seemed to go well, very few personal questions and the officer seemed satisfied with our documents. She took my i94 card but let me keep my EAD card. Then she said she needed more time to think, gave us a notice saying we were in initial review and had submitted everything they needed. I'm really worried, has anyone else any input on this? How long did you have to wait until you heard anything? The IO said to call if we hadn't heard anything in 30 days. Please share your experience, thank you!

It is fairly normal. Sometimes they have to get a supervisor to actually approve and sign off on the case. Some have checked their status the same or next day and saw it was approved. Some have had to wait a little longer. Hopefully you will not have to wait too long.

Thanks for the reply guys! Keep us updated. It's good to know we weren't the only ones. You start to second guess yourself after we thought it all went well and worry we didn't submit something the really wanted, although we gave them what thy asked for etc. did you interview in Chicago?
