Hello- my sister and nice are to submit ds230. They are citizen of bangladesh currently. my sister is divorced and nice is 14 yrs old, sister has custody of my nice.



Is there any possibilities that the embassy will ask the concent of my nices father regarding her getting a visa and leaving the country or any complications along the line that we should expect?

The US will only grant a visa to the child if the father's consent or a court order allows the child to immigrate. This is 100% necessary.

The US will not issue a visa so a parent can immigrate a child without the other parent's consent because the US does not want to participate in parental kidnappings.
