AOS I-131

There seems to be some conflicting information, does anyone know if my spouse needs to apply for advanced parole (I-131) while the AOS is processed in order to travel outside the USA? Had some hassle at the canadian border.

Interesting note- my spouse was told by immigration to get AOS application filed and in process or she would be denied upon another re-entry... guess they are watching for intent to complete the visa after entering on the K3...... ooops, guess procrastination will ruin my life!

A K3 visa is a multi entry visa and you dont need AP until the K3 has expired dont know why your wife was told she has to file for AOS as you could be returning to her home country for the CR1 interview.... or doing AOS
