How do you know when the Consulate gets it?

Does it come up on the CEAC site? Or do you have to chase up?

You have to keep checking with NVC or DOS, from what i remembered my status on ceac stayed as ready until after the interview. The only thing that changed was last updated date.

And of course you will get a letter from embassy after they receive it :-)

When you status on ceac says ready, that mean that they have your papers.

Best timetick is when the IV Unit opens the casefile,

and the DoS Hotline knows of that timetick.

Use a telephone, call daily (unless the casefile went to Guangzhou).
