Hey VJ's,

I just got the best news ever and I thought I would share them with you!

Maybe I can give some hope to people in a similar situation ;)

We have had the worst time since receiving our NOA2 in July, just everything went wrong!

The first time our case was sent to the NVC in August it went missing and never arrived...

The second time it was sent in October, our file was returned back to USCIS, because by the time it arrived the NOA2 was no longer valid, so it had to be send back to be revalidated....

And now finally for the third and last time, on December 18th our file was sent to the NVC for one last time and ARRIVED!!! dancin5hr.gif The 3rd time is the charm after all!

I just got of the phone with the NVC and they gave me my case number and everything! :)) The petition is already on it's way to the consulate in Germany. I really hope from now on things will be going smooth again! I can't believe it took 6 months just for a letter to arrive....

Anyway, never give up! If you are still waiting on your NOA2, or waiting for it to arrive at the NVC or consulate, don't lose hope!! Sooner or later everything will work out.

For those who may be going through the same thing. Do you have any advice on what could be done to try and get things going again?

I've been waiting 7 weeks and counting for my NOA2 to be forwarded, and nobody can seem to give us an answer on where our case is. The thought of this taking a year is terrible. I can't imagine how much stress and frustration you must have gone through.

21 Sep 2013 - Filed i-129F

27 Nov - NOA2 email received (63 days since NOA1)

30 Jan 2014 - NOA2 sent to NVC (64 agonizing days) P.S. Apparently VJ doesn't care about accurate timelines.

11 Feb - Got Case number

24 Feb - Packet 3 Received and Submitted

25 Feb - Packet 4 Received and Submitted

29 Apr - Medical (Dr Cheema)

01 May - Vancouver Consulate Interview - Approved!

06 May - Visa in hand!

06 June - Entered the USA!

14 June - Married!

Oh I am so sorry you are having trouble with USCIS as well! Have you ever gotten a hardcopy of your NOA2 in the mail?
