How early should I prepare?

I am getting married in two months in Philippines, and I will apply for my citizenship 3 months prior hitting my 5th year wc is on September 28th. I'm just wondering how early should I prepare for applying for CR1/IR1? What should be my first step?

Soon as you have your marriage certificate you are eligible to apply. You can still apply as an LPR and upgrade once you gt your citizenship or just wait since its a month later. It's up to you.,

LPR=Legal Permanent Resident. Takes a few weeks for upgrade to be done in system. But hard no you just mail in your citizenship certificate.
