Has anyone else had this issue....I finally got all my paperwork to send in our I129, and when I tried to print off the record of texts it wouldn't show up, apparently this is some kind of built in privacy thing. I've talked to managers at Telus- this is Canada- and there's nothing they can do. I have pay as you go and I buy unlimited texting to US. I can see the darn thing on the screen but there is no way to get it on paper, I've tried clipping and copying. Same deal with my landline, I have unlimited so it doesn't show calls, but they can send me a log in two weeks. Hopefully sweetie will have more luck with his provider. Cuz other than that we have NO proof of ongoing relationship, for someone I talk to minimum 2 hours a day!! We rarely email, he wears a headset all day so can call when he's doing other stuff. I swear to god I'm gonna lose my mind over this.

For the 129 you do not need proof of continuing relationship. You only need proof you met in person within the previous two years.

The consulate interview is where you will produce relationship evidence.

P.S. don't loose your mind yet. You'll need it for the endless months of waiting ahead of you. smile.png

Thanks guys, was following the guide here and they said to include it. I'm fed up and we'll just send what we have. I suspect I'm overthinking it all. Like that's never happened before....

The guides here are generic and cover all countries - both high fraud and low fraud. USCIS only care that you have proof you have met in person once in the last 2 years for the petition approval. They don't care about much evidence of ongoing relationship.

However, some embassies will want to see lots of this evidence for the actual visa application. These countries may require "front-loading" to make sure that the evidence of ongoing relationship is sent with the rest of the I-129f package from USCIS to the respective embassy for the visa application.

If you can see it on the screen, try pressing the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. This should copy what you see on the screen to clipboard. Then open Paint, and paste it there for printing.

Thanks, I'm getting closer, the actual numbers seem to be made of invisible ink, good old privacy thing. We're making a point of emailing every couple days now, and I've got the landline records coming.

We rarely email,

You two will have to prove to a total stranger, the Embassy CO, that you have a legitimate relationship and intend to immigrate to the US to live permanently and do not intend to engage in visa fraud.

You SHOULD purposefully generate all different kinds of evidences......so keep talking but use other mediums and methods.

Send emails, send letters and cards and gifts, Skype and do screenshots of the video, all kinds of evidences.

Don;t get too worked up about the phone records. These carry the least value as evidence because they are so easy to create with any word processor.

Some think front loading is important with some Consulates. Canada is not a high fraud country. The important thing now is get the darn 129 in the mail.

You MUST send proof of actually meeting in the last two years. You can send passport stamps, hotel, food, entertainment receipts, photos of the two of you doing everyday things together.

Don;t forget the intent letters.

Quick question to your comment, is there a list of low and high fraud countries? just curious.

There isn't a list I'm aware of, but generally it is developing countries that see the most scrutiny.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
