Copies of supporting documents

Hi everyone,

I found online from different sources that you have to put this statement on the copies of the supporting documents you submit to UCSIS. Is that true, did anyone do this?

Copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered original documents and I understand that I may be required to submit original documents to an immigration or consular official at a later date.

Thank you!

Not true. I didn't put any "statement" on the forms and documents that we submitted to USCIS.

You put that statement at the end of your cover letter only. It doesn't go on your copies of documents.

My lawyer had me sign a letter stating pretty much that, but it was just one copy only and went in with the overall packet.
