Presentation of I-129F kit, Just wanting insight on how you packaged the kit

Hi All,

Finally!! I completed the I-129F and all supplemental forms. So now I'm ready to actually put the kit together to mail off. Just wanted to know how you guys would recommend putting the actual kit together. Did you put it in a folder? Did you put stickies and postage all over? I know it should look presentable but should I put in extra attempt to make it look "prettier and user friendly" or just keep it as simple as possible, neat?

Just looking for advice from anyone who has done it and successful. This is an anxious time for me and my fiancee, just want to cross all the T's and dot those I's.

Thanks a mill!!

Yeah, I think the simpler, the better. I know some people probably went nuts with the folders and tabs, etc., but I just used paperclips and post-it notes, basically. I made a table of contents on my cover page that listed everything in order, and that should be good enough. Good luck!

Keep it simple. Just put your papers in a logical order by your cover letter, and slide it in an envelope.

Sometimes and it happens. add your check list before sending your package for members to see. There have been results where someone like yourself made a simple error and other(s) caught it)

Example: Check made out to: US Department of Homeland Security in the amount of;

Mail to: Dallas Lockbox

Signed in Ink Letters of Intent ETC. These check list help but you may have that covered already.

These are screw-ups that get RFE's commonly as well as a Complete Dissolution of Marridge Copy with a Stamp and Seal that you are free to Marry if that applies.

No, the 129-F need not be fancy. Just in some order and post-it and paperclips are fine. It's not a big package when completed.

Its a waste to use a binder. When they get your package, they will take all the papers out of your binder, put it how they want it, and your binder goes in the trash. Just put all your papers organized by cover letter either in a large manila envelope, or you can use a priority mail envelope at the post office. Just slide them in, and mail it. Simple.

I broke it down into the sections and put a printed cover page on each section saying what it is for. Proof of Relationship. Trip to China, Pictures of us in China, etc. It was just one extra paper I added to each to help keep it organized. Then I put all in an expanding file folder and sent it off. We got NOA-1 so far and should be getting NOA-2 soon have not received any RFI's.
