Stayingstrong - my situation is similar to yours, my timeline is below, hope it helps, i just received my AOS interview letter. Online it still says 'response to rfe review'. I never got a notice saying it had been transferred to a local office. I did call my congressman a couple of weeks ago to enquire about my case because it had been so long, and immediately after my enquiry i received the interview notice. By the looks of things you may still have a while longer to wait!

04/24/2012 - VAWA I-360 Received by VSC

05/02/2012 - Receipt Notice Issued (received in hand on 5/08/2012)

05/03/2012 - 180-day Notice of Prima Facie Issued(received in hand on 5/08/2012)

10/02/2012 - Mailed request for renewal of Prima Facie

10/18/2012 - Received renewed 180-day notice of Prima Facie

10/26/2012 - Filed i-485 and i-765 for EAD with request to join them to my pending i-360

10/31/2012 - Receipt Notices Issued for i-485 and i-765, fees waived (received in hand on 11/05/2012)

11/02/2012 - Appointment notice issued for i-485 biometrics appointment on 11/27/2012

11/08/2012 - Biometrics notice received and returned with a request to reschedule.

11/15/2012 - i-765 Approved / Notice Mailed / Card Production Ordered

11/19/2012 - EAD Card Mailed / Approval Notice Paper Copy Received

11/23/2012 - EAD Card DELIVERED!11/30/2012 - SSN applied for - card received 7 days later!

12/14/2012 - Biometrics done (walked in a few days before my appointment, was a great experience!)

04/05/2013 - Third Prima Facie Received valid for 60 days

04/11/2013 - Sent additional evidence that was unavailable at time of filing, received by VSC on 4/15/2013.

04/18/2013 - Touched (acknowledgment of correspondence received by USCIS)

04/26/2013 - I360 APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

05/02/2013 - Received in mail approval notice (dated 4/24/2013 - a year to the day that i filed!) and notice of deferred action.

06/24/2013 - i-485 Transferred to NBC "to speed up processing"

07/03/2013 - RFE for medical

10/10/2013 - RFE response mailed, a few days late - praying that its still accepted!

10/17/2013 - Case updated to show 'RFE Response Review'... waiting on an interview date now i think!<p>

04/16/2014 - GC INTERVIEW!!!!! Felt it did not go well

05/02/2014 - green card approved!

(I am filing by myself without the help of an attorney)

I missed to share an update on the case. We did received an Rfe on the case on April 04 requesting birth certificate and medical. We targeting to submit these by the end of the month. Generally the AOS interview comes within couple of months after medical. So hopefully it won't be long.

Please keep us posted on how ur interview goes. Where is ur interview??

Have anyone here applied for i912 fee waiver for a i485 and i765 based on approved i360..if yes how long did uscis take to send out a NOA..iv have an approve i360 in march i sent out my package and its been little over a month now and still haven't heard back from them so am eagerly waiting to see if my i912 is approved so i can move along with the process..does anyone kno how long they take to respond on a i912 form..this whole thing is stressing me out!!!

this is not really refreshing, because it just rehashes USCIS's mis-deeds. What I really want to know is whether anyone ever (via attorney?) was able to make USCIS go into the file (or notation) and clarify. Surely not by mail (that may take months) - but how?

And of course, if RFE specified a Civil Surgeon's error - then C.S. office would give client a new I-693 packet without charge. But RFE is phrased ambiguously. CS glanced at the copies in the file, and insists all 5 pages were filled out as usual

I have seen on this board people receive RFEs for the medicals because the Civil Surgeon did not use the most current form. There have been incorrectly filled out medical reports. There have been RFEs for medical reports that were turned in at CBP as they were supposed to be but later lost although all the other paperwork in the envelope was received. I have seen over and over again people receive RFEs for paperwork they know they sent in with their packet. If you search the board you will find numerous instances of RFEs for paperwork that was sent and lost or paperwork that was no properly filled out.

The specific reason is really irrelevant. You need to have a correctly filled out medical exam sent to them by the deadline given on the RFE or your I-485 will be denied.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
