Need help reschedule interview in US Embadsy New Delhi India

I need help for information about rescheduling immigrant visa interview.

Actually, my father is in India. My brother applied for both of my parents. My mother got visa. My father did not clear his first medical exam. Physician wanted to do some more tests. Now after 2 months, doctor gave a sealed medical report packet to my father. When I called US embassy Delhi to reschedule his interview , Embassy is saying their physician panel send medical report to them and they cannot schedule his interview until they receive my father's medical report. When I called that hospital ( max super Mohali ,India) , doctor said they hand over reports to applicants and their job is completed. I don't know what to do now. I'll really appreciate if any body can share any kind of regarding this that will help to understand and decide what should I do next.

Any kind of information will be greatly appreciated.

You said the doctors gave your father the sealed results. The embassy says they can't schedule until tey get the resukts so why hasn't your father taken the sealed results to th embassy?

Something is missing here? What has your dad done? Has he taken sealed packet to embassy or what?

Thanks for reply. My parents interview was on nov 07,2013. My dad X-ray result was negative. Doctor asked my dad to reschedule his interview and He did 1 more test on my dad. That took 2 months to get results. At that time I called Embassy to reschedule my dad's interview and they canceled the interview and asked me to call for rescheduling when my dad'll get his report.

Now After 2 months, doctor called my dad and handover his sealed medical report to him. as Embassy said before, I called them to reschedule my dad's interview. They replied their designed panel send reports to them. My dad called hospital and Doctor said their job is to perform medical and give report to applicants.

I hope you understand and you know anyone who's been though this kinda situation. please ask them to reply on this post. My parents are the only one in India. my mom has to give entry before april. I'm very worried about my dad. if he didnot get interview and visa till then.

I understand what you said you just repeated. What I asked you is did your dad take the sealed results to the embassy so then you could schedule the interview?

Seems the embassy is waiting for result sof the medical and your dad hasn't provied it.

So my question is what has your dad done? Where is the sealed package he got from the doctors?

Yes! He got from doctor. I asked Embassy People that Seal report is with my dad. Give us Address where we can send that. They are saying Hospital will send report.

Okay there are some real big misunderstandings hear . Hear me please.

Your dad has the resukts given to him by the medical doctor. he needs to take that to the embassy. Not until he does this will he get an interview.

Do you understand? Your dad has the key to all this. So tell your dad to go to the embassy to drop off the results okay.

My wife has her medical next week in Chennai and i was browsing through the webpage of the hospital who would be doing the medical next week and found this in their FAQ. Please see the link below. Since your father failed his first exam and had to take another one, my guess is that American Embassy is waiting for the report to be couriered to them than you or your father bringing the sealed envelope. You might want to double check with the hospital on this.

Results:

Normal Reports:

The completed medical reports will be handed over to the applicant when all the reports are normal. They will be given to Applicant in a sealed & stamped cover. Reports have to be taken to the US Consulate at the time of Applicant visa interview

Abnormal reports:

Abnormal reports will be couriered to the American Consulate, Chennai.
