Hey guys

I'm trying to gather all my paperwork for my citizenship. I know when I came over the US I was required to Register in the Selective Service System since I was under 26. Do I need to send any paperwork proving that I registered when I moved over here? I went to the Selective Service System and noticed they offer an official letter of verification from Selective Service, Should I send it along with my paperwork? Thanks.

They asked my son to show proof of registering for the selective service at his interview, they took his document and made a copy. He had to put his selective service number on his application.

What document was it? is it the letter from the Selective service System website? or is there something else I'm missing? Thanks

After I registered for the Selective Service, they sent me an official receipt/acknowledgement letter with a registration number.

They actually sent me two -- one when I registered myself, and one apparently when USCIS registered me without asking (seemingly during my AOS application process), but I gave the original/first number I was given. When I go to the interview, I'll bring the aforementioned acknowledgement letter.

When he registered they sent him a card and he took that, but I read other people took the letter they got from the selective service agency proving they registered. I believe that letter takes a few weeks to arrive so apply for it now if you don't have the card.
