The A# should have been written on his K-1 when he entered.

What do you mean by USCIS status?

If you are looking for the I-94 expiration, it should be on the I-94

For us the ONLY place we found the A# was above the beneficiary's name on the NOA2--it was a 9 digit number in the form of XXX XXX XXX. As stated before your USCIS status is "K-1" and it expires when the I-94 expires.

Actually, the K1 visa expires on arrival into the US. I-94 expires 89 days later. But the USCIS status will always be K1 fiance, even if AOS is filed 5 years after the I-94 expires.

Yes, the K-1 visa is null and void once it is used and your lawful presence in the US ends when the I-94 expires and the foreign spouse is accruing over-stay days which are forgiven when they finally do file for AOS. Once the I-94 expires the foreign spouse in no longer legally in the US, but the chances of being deported are slim. So for the I-485 form the status is K-1 and the expiration date they are asking for is the I-94 as that date is right under the I-94 number. So for the OP's question the status is "K-1" and the "expires on" is the date the I-94 expires.

Ahh yes, I forgot the I-485 asked for the expiration date. Now your post makes more sense.

A # can be found on the NOA2 above the Beneficiary's name or on the VISA itself under the Petitioners name in the ANNOTATION

Status is K-1. Expiratation date is on the I-94 (which you need to include a copy of BTW), and/or stamped in his passport at POE.

IIRC, the customs officer won't give you a paper I-94. Go here and fill out the details for your online I-94:
