Minor child of foreign fiancee

Timeline

I (USC) applied for K-1 yesterday at DSC. My fiancee has a minor child and I am nt sure if I shuld have applied for his K-2 now or can I apply later after approval of K-1 for fiancee.

Hopefully you listed them on the app as to follow later at least. That way it is in the file and you don't have to file separate I-129f and pay the petition fee again. That is what we did because we weren't sure due to finances and time. His child is in his homeland and he is in another country for work. So after his visa is approved, we will have the file forwarded to the embassy in his homeland, and within a year we will do the child's medical and interview to review the papers and get her visa also.
