I hope we get the medical report within a day or two max. Dont want to be stuck there longer because of the horrible weather there. Yeah i heard that Mumbai is expensive. Have never been to Mumbai ever so its going to be a challenge in finding hotel and getting to know the place.

For Karnataka-based immigration applicants, the location is Mumbai. I would recommend getting the Medical done in Mumbai at Lelavathi Hospital, call them up and scheduled an appointment and be there first thing in the a.m. (at least by around 8:00 am) and will be out with the results by 4:00 pm, if you get lucky or the next day and ask them that you need the results in hand and do not consider the option of them sending it to the consulate, as at times, transferring the respective package to the consulate gets delayed. You can carry your sealed Medical envelope with you. Good Luck!!

I guess for Bangalore you can do your medical in Hyderabad too.

Weather is much better (at least till Feb end it is), mostly hotels would be cheaper too, and for me the doctor wrapped up the whole process in one day.

I think if you tell him you are from Bangalore he might give you the reports same day, his e-mail is available on the embassy website and he responds promptly.

I think its gonna be more convenient for me to do the medical in Chennai rather than Mumbai. Thanks for the suggestion though.
